Meet Chris McKeown, FNP-BC, FNP-C — owner and provider at Quali-T Hormone Optimization
Chris McKeown, FNP-BC, FNP-C is the owner and dedicated medical provider at Quali-T Hormone Optimization, proudly serving men in Salem and Eugene, Oregon. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience, Chris has made it his mission to help men restore their energy, confidence, and overall well-being through honest, personalized, and results-driven care.
Before founding Quali-T Hormone Optimization, Chris worked at another local men’s health clinic—an experience that revealed how often patients were taken advantage of. From misleading promises about “insurance billing” to double charges and phantom invoices, Chris saw firsthand how men were being treated like numbers instead of human beings. He believed Oregon men deserved better.
In February 2022, he opened Quali-T Hormone Optimization—the first truly in-person men’s health practice in Salem, Oregon—to deliver a higher standard of care rooted in transparency, trust, and real clinical expertise. Unlike many telehealth-only or volume-driven clinics, Chris created a local, accountable, face-to-face practice where patients always know exactly who is taking care of them.
One of the most impactful ways Chris supports his patients is through Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). As an expert in TRT and men’s hormone health, he has helped countless men improve their energy levels, mood, libido, mental clarity, body composition, and overall quality of life. His individualized TRT programs prioritize safety, symptom resolution, and long-term wellness—not shortcuts or cookie-cutter treatment plans.
At Quali-T Hormone Optimization, every patient gets a personal, one-on-one approach. Chris takes the time to understand your goals, your lifestyle, and the challenges you face—whether you’re a busy professional, an active dad, or simply tired of feeling “off.” You’re never rushed, never upsold, and never left in the dark.
With clinics in both Salem and Eugene, Quali-T Hormone Optimization has become Oregon’s trusted, local resource for Testosterone Replacement Therapy, erectile dysfunction treatment, peptide therapy, and comprehensive men’s health support. Chris is committed to building long-term relationships and helping men throughout Oregon feel stronger, healthier, and more confident—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
If you’re looking for an honest, local, and truly patient-centered men’s health provider, Chris McKeown and Quali-T Hormone Optimization are here to help you feel like yourself again. Oh, and don’t forget – you get his personal cell phone number for direct and easy communication!

About Chris McKeown, FNP-BC, FNP-C
Owner & Medical Provider – Quali-T Hormone Optimization, Salem & Eugene, Oregon
Chris McKeown, FNP-BC, FNP-C, is a nationally respected men’s health provider and the owner of Quali-T Hormone Optimization, with clinic locations in Salem and Eugene, Oregon. His journey into medicine began in 2014 when he graduated with honors with his Associate Degree in Nursing. Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016, and later his Master of Science in Nursing in 2020, both with honors. Chris is dual board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP and ANCC, underscoring his dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Chris’s reputation extends far beyond Oregon. In 2025, he was invited to speak as a panelist at the Silverback Summit—one of the most respected men’s health and performance conferences in the United States. His appearance highlighted his expertise, leadership, and growing national recognition in the field of men’s hormone optimization and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). That same year, Quali-T Hormone Optimization won the first-ever “Best Men’s Clinic” in the 2025 Best of Willamette Valley Awards, further solidifying the clinic’s position as Oregon’s trusted resource for men’s health and TRT.
Chris’s passion for men’s health is both personal and professional. Not only has he treated hundreds of men struggling with low testosterone—he has experienced it himself. As someone currently on Testosterone Replacement Therapy, he understands the emotional, physical, and mental burden that low testosterone can create. His firsthand experience allows him to connect with patients on a deeper level and provide guidance rooted in real-world understanding. Chris and his wife were even able to conceive while he was on TRT—a powerful reminder that fertility is possible with the right clinical management.
At Quali-T Hormone Optimization, Chris takes a modern and comprehensive approach to TRT and men’s hormone health. Too often, men are dismissed or ignored by traditional healthcare systems simply because their “numbers” fall within an outdated reference range. Chris sees the person—not just a lab value. Every patient receives individualized, respectful, judgment-free care focused on symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and long-term well-being.
Outside the clinic, Chris enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, Julia, a physician assistant, and their two dogs—Mina, their 150-pound South African Mastiff, and Miley, their lovable 45-pound rescue. As a Midwest native, he’s grateful to have traded Illinois winters for Oregon’s natural beauty. Whether he’s hiking with his family or spending time in the woods as an avid hunter, nature remains an important part of his life and balance.
With deep roots in the community, national recognition in the men’s health field, and a personal commitment to delivering honest and transparent care, Chris McKeown continues to help men across Oregon feel stronger, healthier, and more confident—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
